In 2005,   Wixom Slim co-produced "The Ultimate Detroit Blues Collection"   with sleepy John Reece.   This CD is a Detroit compilation which featured ALL original songs by 20 of the best blues bands in the city!   It was nominated at the Detroit Music Awards ( via the Motor City Music Foundation-aka MCMF) for the best blues recording of 05'.   It has received great accolades by several European blues radio shows and is available at www.cdbaby.com/detroitblues   Wixom Slim & the Wyze Gyze original "pretty little woman" is featured on the CD track 7.   Other Detroit blues talent such as Doug Deming, Al Hill, Motor City Josh, Chef Chris, appear on this compilation!
